  • The key difference lies in how the property is classified and regulated, both also need a different set of documentation to be eligible for renting. Vivienda Vacacional licenses apply to individual apartments or homes rented short-term, while Touristic Complexes involve a building or group of units operated commercially.

  • Yes. To legally rent out a property short-term in Tenerife, you must have the correct licenses and meet certain criteria — either as a Vivienda Vacacional or a registered tourist accommodation.   • Absolutely. Many of our owners live outside of Spain. That’s why we offer a full-service solution — from guest check-ins and communication to cleaning and maintenance. You don’t need to be on the island for your property to perform. We'll handle everything on site and report back to you every month.
